2021 Student Scholarship Announcement 

The Oklahoma Public Health Association(OPHA) is committed to enhancing educational opportunities in public health.  The Pam Rask Scholarship award will be given in honor of the late Pam Rask, who served as President of the OPHA from 2016-2018 and dedicated more than 30 years of her life to the field of Public Health. She was a true Public Health servant and had a passion for improving the health of her fellow Oklahomans. 

OPHA is taking applications for this academic scholarship to be awarded to OPHA member(s), enrolled full or part-time, post high school. Applicants must be enrolled in a school that is sponsored by or accredited by an Oklahoma-based college or university. The amount to be awarded this year will be up to a total of $1,000.00 to be distributed among one or more students.

Student membership is $20.00. Others, who may apply for the scholarship but are not students or covered under a corporate membership pay dues of $40.00 for a one-year membership. You do not have to be a member to apply for the scholarship.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 13, 2021. Winners will be notified by email and will be recognized during the awards ceremony at the 2021 Oklahoma Partners In Public Health Conference September 21 and 22, 2021. Attendance is preferred.
