OPHA membership runs on the calendar year from January 1 through December 31.

Individual & Student Membership

Who can be an Individual Member?

Individual members are current and retired public health professionals or community members who are interested in public health.

Individual members come from a variety of professional backgrounds and work in many different settings:

  • Colleges and universities
  • Community health agencies
  • Behavioral health agencies
  • Primary care
  • Tribal public health services
  • Local, state, and federal agencies
  • Non-profit associations
  • Private, for-profit organizations
  • Social service providers
Membership Types & Dues:

Regular Member (1-Year)      $40
Regular Member (2-Years)     $65
Sustaining Member*            $100
Student Member (1-Year)**   $20
Retiree Member (1-Year)       $20

*A sustaining member is a person professionally engaged in and/or interested in the public health of Oklahoma, who contributes additional financial support to OPHA, and who is elected a sustaining member by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.  The names of sustaining members will be displayed in the printed program for OPHA's annual conference. 

**Student members are undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in an institute of higher education.

How can I become an Individual or Student Member?

Individual and students should complete the online member application form

New and renewing members must select at least one section/caucus, though all members can participate in any section/caucus activity. You can pay online through PayPal or send a check to:

Who can be a Corporate Member?

Corporate membership is for businesses, agencies and organizations, or health-related sub-units, interested in public health.  Organizations with 50 or more full-time employees are eligible for Corporate Memberships. Dues are based on the total number of full-time employees.

Corporate members come from a variety of public health settings, such as:

  • Colleges and universities
  • Community health agencies
  • Behavioral health agencies
  • Primary care
  • Tribal public health services
  • Local, state, and federal agencies
  • Non-profit associations
  • Private, for-profit organizations
  • Social service providers

Corporate membership dues are capped at a maximum of $10,000.

How can my business, agency, or organization become a Corporate Member?

Complete the Corporate Member Application Form and submit the form to the address listed.

All corporate member applications will be submitted to the OPHA Board for approval at the next occurring board meeting.

You will be notified within 30-60 days if your application has been approved.

After approval, all full-time employees will need to follow the steps to become an Individual Member until they reach the payment section of the form. Since their membership is already paid for, they will select their employer under the list of corporate members then hit submit to complete their membership.
